It's time for Officer Nominations!
The ski club had another fantastic season with a number of exciting trips! The board worked hard to make this an enjoyable season. It's election time, thus time for you to nominate people you would like to be on the board next season. You can even nominate yourself! The elections will be held immediately after the nominations, send your nomination in by April 30th to: Al Meichler

All nominees will be contacted to verify acceptance prior to being placed on the ballot. Please read the eligibility rules for holding office in the club, and indicate your nominations below. Although anyone can nominate someone for a post on the board, only current members may be nominated and vote in the election. Board members must commit to attending monthly meetings throughout their term. President ______________________________________ Presides over meetings of the Club and Executive Board. Must be an active skier as determined by the Election Committee. Must have served on the Board in the previous year. Must have been a Ski Club Member during the past season. Vice-President ______________________________________ Assists the President and acts in the Presidents absence. Plans and runs the annual "Europe Trip". Must be an active skier as determined by the Election Committee. Must have been a Ski Club Member during the past season. Treasurer ______________________________________ Keeps the Ski Club's financial records and handles the Ski Club's funds. Must have knowledge of bookkeeping as determined by the Election Committee. Must have been a Ski Club Member during the past season. Weekend Trip Chairperson ______________________________________ Plans short trips such as Mammoth, Tahoe, or Salt Lake City. Will also consider alternative trips such as white water rafting, golf, or scuba. Handles trip sign- ups and trip arrangements. Must have been a Ski Club Member during the past season. Week Trip Chairperson ______________________________________ Plans the annual one-week trip, usually somewhere in the U.S. or Canada. Same requirements as the Weekend Trip Chairperson. Editor/Secretary ______________________________________ Keeps record of all Ski Club Board Meetings. Publishes the Ski Club's newsletter, "The Scoop." Must have been a Ski Club Member during the past season. Membership Chairperson ______________________________________ Keeps an accurate record of Ski Club Members, circulates applications and collects dues. Same requirements as Editor/Secretary. |
